In 1947, with the dawn of the Indian independence, the Britishers needed to go back to their country. The orphanage, which was run by a group of British missionaries, was handed over to Indian missionaries. The Indian missionaries sent all the grown up children out of the orphanage, along with a girl named Sara. They got the girl married to a boy named Augustine. At a very young age she was involved in family matters and within one year she give birth to a baby boy. She named that child Amos. The boy lived his life in full obedience and fear of man and God.

Then after some time the orphan girl saw a vision of God. She saw that a raging fire came down from heaven and the baby boy was on her lap and the fire came so close to her. This girl started praying God if you want, take my life but let the boy live. That very movement the mother had handed over this baby to God. From that time onward this boy kept on growing in grace of man and grace of god. God accepted the love of mother and filled the boy with blessings and anointing.

This family lived in a village and they had a very poor life. The financial situation of the family was very bad. They had to struggle for every single meal and this young orphan women started working along with her  husband  trying to earn sufficient money for their survival. Some time when they did not have food, they took some fruits from the forest, which was used to make alcohol. They used to eat that fruit and fill their stomach to stay alive. Some time they didn’t have rice and dal but for dinner they made chapatey and eat the chapatey with sugar and slept. Because they where poor the relatives used to insult and reject them.

This baby boy grew up and God was with him. At the age of 13 he gives his first message on the parable of seed sown. This boy was so much into knowing about God and God’s word. His heart was to do something different. When he saw people healing the sick in the name of Jesus, he wanted to do that too. After school, he got a job as a security inspector. He did his job faithfully. Slowly pride started getting in him. He started drinking alcohol and smoking. His officers were very happy with his work and they were also much inspired by his dedication and faithfulness in his work. People had a good respect for him as he was honest and faithful. He worked as an inspector for twelve years.

At about this time, God showed him a vision. In the vision, he saw himself in a forest and  saw a bag in his hand in that bag there were some papers and God spoke to him saying "Speak to the dry trees and they will be alive". He did the same. The interpretation is this : dry tree meant the people of the world who are dead spiritually and he had to proclaim the name of Christ and give them life. He was called to be an apostle. From the very beginning of his life the apostolic anointing was on him.
February 2, 1980, he was baptized with the Holy Ghost and fire. The Lord began using him demonstrating the power of the Holy Spirit through all nine gifts from 1981 onwards. This man started going village to village, to the central place and to the market place, he started to preach the gospel. Miracles started to take place, people started to get healed. Demons were cast out. When people saw this amazing stuff many people where attracted to him and slowly people started calling him to get healed. People used to gather for his meeting in hundreds & thousands of numbers to get healed. Traveling to preach by bicycle each day 90-110 kilometers with full gospel packet, visiting 3-5 villages and sharing the gospel. For seven long years he did the same, from 1981 to 1988 the Lord taught him through various ministerial experiences.

In 1989 God brought him to Balaghat and used him mightily as an Evangelist among the thousands of Hindus in this new area. Graciously God fulfilled His word by confirming the truth of the Gospel with signs and miracles.Along with his job, he was involved in ministry. He use to conduct healing crusades where 40000-60000 people used to gather to get healed and to hear the good news of Christ every day. He felt he had to leave his job as a Police Inspector and do the ministry full time. In 1991 he resigned from his government job and the senior officers requested him not to resign the job but according to Gods calling, he did. The ministry started growing very fast after that, hundred of thousands of people started to come to Christ and thousand of people accepted Christ as their personal savior. After leaving the job he went through very difficult situation and financial problems. He lived in small cow shelter, with his wife and two children’s struggling for daily food.

In the midst of this the government was against him and warned him to stop whatever he was doing and politicians were threatening him with death threats. People took him to the court and they put him in jail .But still God was with him in every situation. Now the opposition party and the people started facing problems and consequences in their personal life. Their life become miserable and God punished them for there doings.

The ministry kept on growing. In  the first church 35 people took baptism and continuously the gospel was preached to the villages and to the cities in three different states and many people group started to be involved in this and people started to give their life to Jesus. On 14th January 2006 he was honored with Doctorate by Truth University International. He is blessed with many blessings with good wife & three children’s. Churches in 6 different states having over ten thousand people and successful ministry.

Yours in Him,

Dr.Bishop Amos A Singh
